Starters

Guard: Luka Doncic
22-23 stats – 32.4 PTS, 8.6 REB, 8 AST – 49.6/34.2/74.2
Luka is getting closer and closer to that MVP, but would need to anchor his team to a more successful regular season than last year. It could be showtime in Dallas for another year with Kyrie as his running mate.

Guard: Tyler Herro
22-23 stats – 20.1 PTS, 5.4 REB, 4.2 AST – 43.9/37.8/93.4
The Heat could’ve used a healthy Herro in the playoffs last year especially since he is a starter now. He should provide Miami with consistency at the shooting guard position moving forward.

Forward: Lauri Markkanen
22-23 stats – 25.6 PTS, 8.6 REB, 1.9 AST – 49.9/39.2/87.5
The reigning Most Improved Player for last season played like a star for his new team. Lauri should continue his rise as the face of the Utah Jazz.

Forward: Kristaps Porzingis
22-23 stats – 23.2 PTS, 8.4 REB, 2.7 AST – 49.8/38.5/85.1
The Unicorn coming off of his best and healthiest seasons in the league. Should be a perfect fit playing in Boston next to Tatum and Brown.

Center: Nikola Jokic
22-23 stats – 24.5 PTS, 11.8 REB, 9.8 AST – 63.2/38.3/82.2
The two time MVP coming off his championship season is arguably the best and most unstoppable player playing in the league today.
Reserves:
Guard: Josh Giddey
22-23 stats – 16.6 PTS, 7.9 REB, 6.2 AST – 48.2/32.5/73.1
Giddey is getting better and I expect his shooting to be much improved going into a huge year 3 with a thunder team who is ready to make some noise in the West.
Guard: Kevin Huerter
22-23 stats – 15.2 PTS, 3.3 REB, 2.9 AST – 48.5/40.2/72.5
Part of the turn around for the Kings first playoffs in over 10 years. The backcourt mate to Fox provides sharpshooting and solid perimeter defense.
Guard: Austin Reaves
22-23 stats – 13 PTS, 3 REB, 3.4 AST – 52.9/39.8/86.4
The fan favorite for the Lakers and one of the few bright spots for Team USA’s disappointing World Cup. The Lakers are expecting more growth from the young guard after extending his contract.
Forward: Franz Wagner
22-23 stats – 18.6 PTS, 4.1 REB, 3.5 AST – 48.5/36.1/84.2
The younger Wagner brother is playing very well early into his career. I expect Franz to take another step with Paolo and get the Magic into the Playoffs.
Forward: Gordon Hayward
22-23 stats – 14.7 PTS, 4.3 REB, 4.1 AST – 47.5/32.5/81.1
This could be the last year for Gordon as a starter with Brandon Miller expected to take over. Still a solid wing who gets buckets going into year 14.
Forward: Bojan Bogdanovic
22-23 stats – 21.6 PTS, 3.8 REB, 2.6 AST – 48.8/41.1/88.4
Bojan had his best season yet with the young Detroit Pistons last year. I expect him to provide veteran leadership and scoring while Monty coaches up this young, talented team.
Center: Domantas Sabonis
22-23 stats – 19.1 PTS, 12.3 REB, 7.3 AST – 61.5/37.3/74.2
When it comes to offensive bigs, only a few are better than Sabonis. The double double machine is one of the main reasons they light the beam in Sac Town.
Center: Nikola Vucevic
22-23 stats – 17.6 PTS, 11 REB, 3.2 AST – 52/34.9/83.5
Nikola has been very consistent, very good for a long time and to not be on any good teams isn’t fair. Still one of the best centers in the league today who can score inside and out.
