What do we want to see in the next gen version of the video game that’s been dormant for 10 years?

Game Features

Momentum: NCAA football had used momentum before and now Madden has added it to its game. A nice updated version of this would be great

Home field advantage:  I would like this to be returned to make the loud stadiums very loud and affect the opposing teams offenses as it would in real life. Hard to adjust protections, change routes or audible to new plays.

Duplicate numbers: It wasn’t that big of a thing back then but now it’s necessary make it #0 D/ST or #5 O for an example when editing numbers.

Create a playbook: One of the best features of the game with all the new updated RPO and option plays should be great.

Create a school: I don’t know why games stopped allowing us to create teams. It’s so fun and maybe they will bring back Teambuilder or something completely new that would help.

Real life rosters & coaches(coordinators too): We heard the players have an opt in but I want the coaches in there too including coordinators and to show them either on the field or in the box that would be a nice touch. Also lets get the rosters up to 85 from 70.

Impact players: Two on offense and two on defense. Have the impact players have special abilities that mimic the Madden x factors.

Game Modes

Mascot Mode: Bring back the fun, 99 everything, with ridiculous plays, game mode 

Championship Circuit: Remember the instant classic game mode? Well kind of like that but make this the championship games from 1998 – 2023. Once you play the game you unlock the teams from that game to use in play now or online. It would be fun to play 2001 Miami vs 2019 LSU amongst other teams. Yes, I know that would be a ton of Alabama teams.

Skill/Mini games: Madden brought the skills trainer back this year but I know College Football will and can do it better. Some mini games we would welcome back would be Bowling, Tug of War and Horse.

Dynasty mode

The absolute best part of the game is Dynasty mode. Dynasty mode was damn near perfect in NCAA ‘14 but with so many changes in college football it will need to be updated as well. 

Recruiting: The recruiting database should be based off 247sports since they’re on top of the recruiting world. Recruiting can duplicate free agency for Madden with the interests ( proximity to home, scheme fit, playing time, contender). Coaches can make promises to recruits and be held accountable for them which would bring down their reputation if they don’t fulfill them.

Coaching Carousel: On NCAA ‘14 you couldn’t change head coaching jobs while under contract I would like to change that to whenever. Also, I would like to hire my coordinators if I lose them like how Madden does it. 

Transfer Portal: Have accurate transfer portal windows for winter and summer. Ability to release players into the portal, could affect coach reputation. 

CFP Playoffs: 12 team playoffs, It’ll be the first year of it so as accurate as they think it will look works for me.

Conference Realignment: The ability to kill a conference like the PAC 12 or the WAC should be an option. Also would like the ability to create a new conference and fully customize and edit current ones. Having the option to customize a conference up to 24 teams and choose how many conference games.

Coaching schemes: Should adopt this from Madden with players not being able to fit in everyone’s scheme the same. That will also come with player archetypes like how Madden does with coverage linebackers, speed rusher linebackers/ends, slot receivers, improvising QBs. 

Road to glory

Keep the base of this the same as it was in NCAA ‘14. I would also like to add the ability to become an HS all american and play in the all american game (I would choose under armour over us army). Once you get on campus the ability to practice, study and be social will have effects on the player progression and becoming a campus legend. Also might as well have the option to enter the transfer portal and switch schools. 

Who should be on the cover?

THE G.O.A.T. Nick Saban should be on the cover. If they decide to do it how they did it years past with an ex college player, I think it should be Jayden Daniels. There is also an option for the first time ever to use a current player due to NIL. In that case the best player I can think of would be Quinn Ewers.
